Rick Remender hits the bull’s eye once again in what continues to be one of Marvel’s strongest titles. The story is an event tie-in done right, fleshing out aspects from Spider Island while still pushing the character of Flash Thompson forward in a brief, but undeniably powerful scene in the final pages. Tom Fowler also delivers solid art and storytelling to the symbiote’s latest outing(though I found Tony Moore to be just a little bit better). Venom is a great book and continues to be a novel and delightful take on the character.
