  1. I didn’t think this issue was as strong as previous ones leading up to it. I guess because the arc is called DEATH OF SPIDER-MAN it was kind of a let down that he actually died. Although this is probably a fake out. OR not. There’s no way of knowing either way at the end of the issue.

  2. We’ll find out in the months to come. I’m still holding out hope that at the end of this issue he just slips into a coma, then is awakened and healed by SHIELD. He then gets a new identity couristy of SHIELD cause everyone knows that he is Spider-Man now. Thus the quote by Marvel, “someone new being Spider-Man” wouldn’t be false. Also, Jameson would protect him and give him a job. Or he could just be on the Ultimates.

  3. The Mary Jane moment just didn’t hit me as hard as tha Aunt May one last issue.

  4. I think it’s partially due to that Joe Quesada alternate cover that leaked onto the Internet. I think that cover said more than this whole issue.
