Ah, that felt good. An Ultimates book with no incest, no witty one
liners that seemed to be ripped out of an 80’s Schwarzenegger film.
Millar must never leave this book again. Apparently only understands
the concept of widescreen action necessary for this book to be good. I
loved having Samuel L. Fury back, even if he’s all republican gung ho.
The fight scene was fun, and it was really nice to see Hawkeye not the
emo dickhead he was in Loeb’s run or generic special ops guy he was in
the original run. Pacheco did a great job on the art. I really like how
the Red Skull turned out and the bruises on Cap’s face.
