Holy fuck!This issue was fucking intense. I’ve never read a comic that used the work “fuck” so many fucking times. When I opened up this comic I overestimated what the pacing was going to be, but just because this is the 100th issue doesn’t mean Robert Kirkman forgot what got him this far. Kirkman reminded me that in The Walking Dead the zombies are not the biggest threat, it’s the other survivors out there. A couple of issues ago when Rick killed memebers of Negan’s crew I thought that was the most badass thing I’ve ever seen outside of a superhero comic book, but Negan came along and gave one of the BEST villain speeches of all fucking time. Then came Lucile. The only thing that would’ve made Lucile more of a badass weapon of choice would be nails hammered in. Props to Kirkman for adding the barbed wire bat to the “weapons you’ll want in the zombie apocalypse list”. I found it interesting that Charlie Adlard didn’t really get time to shine in this issue, other than towards the end when Lucile goes to work, but the writing is really what takes the cake in this issue. Fuck man this issue was a joy to read. “Holy fuck fucking fuckedy fuck…”
