Having never been a fan of The Flash outside of stealing his speedy-tidying-up-technique from the old video my local Blockbuster used to stock, this series has been a really pleasant surprise.

Attracted at first by the art I’ve found myself being pulled more and more in to this book and the overall storyline until it’s one of the main books I find myself waiting for each month. For me the perfect example of some of the good the New 52 has provided newer readers with: a clean slate to move forward, but a rich history to look back on.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. If that was a reference to the 90’s Flash TV show, you just made my day. I loved his velvet suit and crazy Mark Hamill. Awesome.

  2. I think it was – as I say there was a tatty old copy of (what I guess was) the pilot episode – he whizzed around his house to tidy up, if I recall? There was also a 1990s Captain America too, with a quite dull fight in a courtyard.

    Worth tracking down the series?
