I liked the story concept (even if I did hate the lead-in from #700). Superman trying to reconnect with the everyday – he’s been so cosmic, he feels like he’s forgotten/lost something.

I liked the writing, especially the dialog (people in Philly say things like, man and dude… for instance). I’m interested in seeing where this goes – hopefully, its not to Maudlin Town (like the story from #700). I loved the jumper scene, and the diner scene. I would have liked a little more between Lois and Supes, since he did just get back from space and now he’s taking a walking trip.

My biggest negative – is just a pet peeve really. Why can’t writer’s ever get it right – it’s just a Cheese Steak. Here in Philly, we just say, “cheese steak”. Never cheesteak sandwich, and definitely not a “Philly cheese steak sandwich.” And while Philly does have a “South Side” – it’s just called South Philly, and the house sure don’t look like these…

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
