Yeah, of course everyone is going to talk about what was supposed to be the biggest scene of the book, the Sentry ripping Ares in half.  I will let others talk that scene to death. I am so sick of the Sentry. They have ret-conned him at least twice recently. First he was a schizophrenic superman knock-off. Ok, fine. At least I understood his powers. Then they said he was like Molecule Man and his Superman-like powers are simulated because he controls the molecules around him. Ok, thats a stretch but I can go with it. Now, he is supposed to have always been an addict, even though he has never acted like an addict in any issue before and now instead of being schitzo, he seems to be possessed by the void, whatever that is. I assume it has something to do with the tenticles coming out of him after Ares stabbed him. Maybe he really is Galactus or maybe he is Chtullu. Either way, I am getting sick of the character and I want someone to go get Dr. Harrow's power inhibitor and kill him already.

My favorite part of the book was the last four panels. That image of Cap's shield coming at Norman's face got me excited for the next book in a way I haven't been for any comic since Civil War.

The biggest hero of the book - "Jason". Some normal shmuck who drives his pickup truck into the middle of a raging battle with super-powered beings fighting frigging Gods to pull Thor out... and he succeeds! That was, by far, the most heroic thing that happened in the whole book and 10 to 1 says that character never shows up again.
