This is the first Secret Avengers I’ve read since issue six and it’s the one I liked the most. I loved everything about it, the amazing landscape art, Warren Ellis’s underground futuristic city beneath Cincinnati of all places!! I didn’t even know the Brits knew about Cincinnati. I really enjoyed Ellis’ Moon Knight, more than Bendis’s.

I’m a huge fan of McKelvie’s art. While I think he is best suited for “non-superhero” comics, he does a wonderful job of doing landscapes and facial expressions. I particularly enjoyed Beast’s “acting” in this issue. Although I thought Cap looked too Young.
