You have got to be kidding me with how good the art is in this book. I mean through 4 issues this is seriously competing with the best comics art I’ve ever seen. Layouts, colors, sketches, concepts. Everything. While Hickman is weaving one of the most complex, daring and just “out there” concepts I’ve ever known of – the art pulls it together and actually executes all this madness.

This issue also starts to reveal some things slowly. It’s still cryptic, sure – but man is it fun. I didn’t feel lost the entire time like issues 2 and 3, but there were moments of “wtf”. Whatever, Hickman has me on this ride. Amazing issue.
