I felt this comic left a lot to be desired. I would contend that there was only half a comic here. The flashback / internal dialogue scenes were, for the most part, non-essential and throw-away.

The self-doubt that Pepper felt could have just as easily been expressed to Rhodey, which would have alleviated the need to employ a storytelling device that completely took me out of the story. The action scenes were good, but could have been longer, with higher stakes.

The art was rather blah, and at times, just strange.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a few more Rescue / Pepper Pots one-shots. She’s an interesting character, who can stand on her own. I just hope the stories and art improves.
