A fairly straight ahead story, this issue is a fairly forgetable introspective within Pepper’s mind, following a tough rescue (shocker, right?).

The art does a fine enough job, but some things stick out and kinda disturb the flow:

-Pepper looks like she has an 80s femme mullet
-When we see her inside the suit, she’s still wearing the entire suit
-Apparently nerdbabies are still unpottytrained and still learning to walk at the age of six.

I (like most others who did the same as me) checked this out because Pepper as Rescue within the pages of Iron Man is fascinating. Unfortunately that is not the case in this one-shot.
