I just read a book that made me shiver. It disturbed me with its brutality and wowed me with its brilliance. I’ve not been this excited about a book for a good long time and its the same book. It defies expectations and creates a world that is mesmerising, but you’d never in a million years ever want to live in it. Its full of ambition and demands to be noticed. It’s a book you read last, because you don’t want to enjoy the others less. Two giants live in this world, both determined and unrelenting, neither have any limits to the lengths they will go to, to do their job. This book is ruthless and humourless. It’s clean art punches you in the gut and the final page leaves you breathless for more.
