This is like a heroin addiction. I mean seriously, I didnt like the last issue so much….why did I come back to this!? I mean this issue wasnt any better.

Dont get me wrong, it’s not like this was terrible by any means. It just doesnt feel right to have this title out. I cant quite put my finger on it, but Punisher is just not that good in the Marvel Universe. He’s more suited for the gritty crime world that he is in the MAX line. Maybe that’s why I enjoyed more of Castle kicking ass of all the drug, gun, and prositute rings around NYC instead of the stuff with Osborn. It doesnt help that we got this new partner, who just screams about every single partner Castle has ever had from Microchip to….whatever that nerdy guy was in War Journal. This ‘Henry’ is just not that original and to be honest, Castle doesnt need help. What I can say is that Remender does have a great voice for Punisher and maybe that’s the only thing that kept me going threw this issue.

The art, again, just wasnt that great. The coloring I like but the pencils by Opena are just too sketchy for my taste. I dont know who did the cover, the issue didnt credit it, but I like the art more on the covers then in the actual book. Nothing just feels special about the art and I dont certainly think it should be a selling point for the title.

So what is making me continue with this series? Oh wait…..The Hood is going to get involved?….Oh yeah….I’ll stick around……I have a problem….
