A keeper.

But, this suffers from a trend I see in many of these 52’s. Lack of a strong villain. This book succeeds purely on Higgins understanding of the character of Nightwing, you can feel how much he loves this character, and its all told in Nightwing’s voice. It’s quick, sly and also beautiful to look at. Clean detailed layouts. That two page spread is amazing and its by far the best looking of all the Bat books so far.

As for the new look, I like it. and lets be honest its virtually the same out fit except the blue is replace with red. The red pops on the page, you pick him out more in the construction of the page layout.

I’m sticking with this, reminds me of Dixon’s original run back in the 90’s.
