Overall a nice comic read. Some interesting character moments, but also strange emphasis on race. Loved the comment from the woman on the street saying “nice ass”–I’m sure sometime someone will say “terrific balls!”
I like the set up for the villain of Brainwave, and the friend (with benefits?)being Karen Star. Made me want to stick around for issue 2.

    As a Mr. T fan from JSA and CHECKMATE, this issue was a real disappointment for me. The art was mediocre at best, and I wish the writer had concentrated more on story instead of desperate dialogue choices, and constantly telling us our hero is “the 3rd smartest man in the world” versus showing us that he is. Also – do they really bury fetuses in four foot coffins?
