Unfortunately, I think I'm finally ready to call this crossover
pointless and lame.
I kept hoping that it would eventually bring itself together and tell a compelling story.
Each issue where jokes were taking precedence to development, I waited.
Every issue where pointless character movements were employed, I'd figured that it was for the purpose of the story not just to waste an issue.
The fact that we saw Deus ex Machina as a siginficant minor character and this issue promised the ending will be employing him just made me give up.
It might have been mildly funny to see Bigby tear into the genres as a girl about 4 installments ago, but since they just put it off and put it off for no apparent reason other than to pad the series more, it just seemed anticlimactic.
I like the cartooniness of the art, but that isn't enough to save my disappointment to this series.
