Let’s start with the story – the classic let’s make a movie in a comic book theme has been used throughout the years. It is used by Fraction to reintroduce us to the Mandarin. I do not know to much about this character and this story made we want to know even less. All I can take away from this story is that the Mandarin is cocky and plays mind games with people – I got that from flipping through the pages and looking at the panels. This book should have been a one shot – not an annual – the past year of iron man has been filled with awesome stories such as “Wanted” and “Disassembled” and I was expecting something to spawn out of these story plots. How is Iron Man coping with the old armor? – How will he rebuild Stark Industries?- Perhaps the controller could come back ? , these are just a few things I was hoping for and instead with are treated to – “I don’t like that shot in my film” dialogue – oh no! – It was that bad.
