The character seems familiar, but I just can’t place him. I feel like I’ve seen him on comic book covers back in the day. So I come to this knowing really nothing. I can’t tell you what’s changed, and what is the same because it’s all new to me.

I can tell you it’s pretty cool.

So many cool things going on. You have a sweet In Media Res thing going, and playing around with time a la Tarantino. You’ve got cool con artist stuff. You have voices in his head, aliens? demons? Not sure, and neither is he. You have people getting stabbed in the eye.

It sort of reminds me of the horror movie Frailty, in a way. In a good way

4 and half out 5 stars.

I will be reading more, you can bet on that.
