While I’m intrigued by the mysteries Edmondson sets up, I finished this issue feeling slightly underwhelmed. The art quality is pretty variable from page to page, and even though I can get into the plot, there are more than few clunky bits of dialogue and narration. I’m not completely turned off yet, but issue two will need to impress me.
