I want to be a member of the Green Lantern Corps. There, I said it.
I want to know the feeling of wielding the most powerful ring in the universe as I fly through hordes upon hordes of Yellow Lanterns, bringing them my own brand of justice. Afterward, nothing sounds better than enjoying a couple of cold ones at the newly opened Warriors bar.
Seriously DC, you should look into that. It could be the Hooters for comic fans.
Peter J. Tomasi has been doing nothing but amazing things for this title, and I owe him a drink because of it. With such an extensive cast of characters to play with, it seems like we are always being introduced to someone new each issue. Or revisiting old friends from previous issues. Remember how Mongul died last issue after a battle with the Lanterns and the Black Mercy? Turns out the dude is such a badass, that he still manages to limp away half digested from the Mercy's gullet. On top of that, he lost an arm. Now if I was Mongul, I'd probably be wanting revenge in the future after a nice recovery.
Back on the training field, we see a little flirtation between Kyle and Natu, and I for one am happy to see it. Guy has Ice, and Kyle has nothing but bad luck with women. Kyle likes his women how he likes his coffee: grounded up and in his freezer. With nothing happening with the mute chick in the Ion mini-series, it's refreshing to see Kyle getting back in the game.
Only the game will have to be post-phoned due to a light-rain of eyeballs of loved ones. I'm very excited to see what happens next issue, because right now the remaining Sinestro Corps members are trying to keep a low profile while they rebuild their ranks, not target the loved ones of Green Lanterns.
Finally, check out the cover; looks like and Alex Ross cover, right? I was pleasantly suprised when I saw it at my store because usually Ross is doing covers for Project Superpowers, JSA, and Batman RIP. But for Green Lantern Corps? How cool is that! Turns out though that it was painted by a Rodolfo Migliari. I've never heard of him, but dammit, now I want more! Alex Ross, watch your back!

That Warriors idea has merit, Cammy. Sign me up. Also, very good review.
