This was a very solid book, and like GL it isn’t getting a reboot. Everything is as it was. Guy, through this title has more layers than he is usually portrayed in say JLI, not the one note arrogant prick. Here we see his desires and it was a bit sad when he didn’t get that coaching job. For John, we saw a bit of that old Denny O’Neil John Stewert. The person who’s a little high and mighty and wanted get some back, though the developers he was dealing it to were a bit too much of the card board evil corporate caricature. It was just nice seeing them wanting to do other things than being a GL.

It also had a good set up for mystery that have to deal with in the coming issues.

Very good overall but I don’t know if I’ll stay with it. Just have to limit what I buy. Maybe I’ll get it in trade.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
