oh, Jeff Lemire, you had me at Monster Planet.

DC comics’ ode to far-out creature crazyness continues in Frankenstein: Agent of Shade #4, a book so front-loaded with mad scientist ideas you’d think it was written by a sentient forklift. sure, that metaphor doesn’t really work but that doesn’t change the fact that this issue contains: TWO mountain sized titans, a small army of proto-GI Robots, references to both Aquaman AND The X-men, and giant Laser equiped war machines seemingly controled with a Super Nintendo.
Frankenstein continues to rival OMAC for weirdest best book of the new 52, and coincidently those titles are crossing over next issue. Niiiice.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
