Monster Planet comes to an end and I think I’ve figured out what happened to this title…the art. There’s nothing wrong with the story, it’s excellent, but I feel in the hands of a different artist, it would have been complimented the art better. Don’t get me wrong, Alberto Ponticelli is a decent artist, but his style is very scratchy and looks like someone accidentally spilled an ink bottle and tried to cover it up. I do love this title, but the art’s killing me.
