I definitely see your point. I gave this book a 3 myself, but i was being generous. Like yourself, i was reading this book saying “ummm, where are the FF?” I understand Hickman needed to set up some stuff for the future, but I would have rather this was done in smaller doses over several issues, not al in one issue that basically read as an information dump more than a story. I was pretty disappointed in this issue, which is a shame, because I had been loving FF up to this point. I’m hoping it will pay off in the future.
I think we’ll see a nice payoff, but the art and lack of actual FF really did hurt this issue. I too gave it a 3, but I’m not exactly sure why. I guess I like the other issues so much I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt to build to something. I was really confused to be honest and I will have to go back and read this again. I also don’t know much about the Inhumans and the Kree race in general so I struggled comprehending what was going on.
