    1. Totally agree. Nothing happened in the 4 issues I read and when I noticed Tocchini was given the pencilling job I just knew I had to drop it immediately…

    2. It’s like the book had a little steam, and this issue just killed it.  But in a bad way.

    3. I’m willing to give it a couple of more issues. I think they’re trying to do too much, but I enjoy the actual FF stuff so much I’m hoping they’ll go back to it. The quieter moments between Sue and Spidey were some of my favorites. Also having Doom in there with The Thing being so ticked off was good stuff too. Hopefully this is a temporary turn in the road.

    4. @Swampdoc:  Those were the things I liked about the first (and even second) issues, the character stuff.  They’ve gotten so far away from that now,  I regret having to drop the book, since those things aren’t part of the current story.  I’m not familiar with Hickman’s other work, but if this is how he writes a story, I doubt I’ll be coming back to this book after the current arc is over.

    5. @RecksDeud  You sound as if you think this is a permenant condition.  I agree that this issue as a complete miss, but I believe Hickman will pull his act together and right the ship.  He needed to re-introduce Black Bolt, and I think he messed up the execution.  I don’t think we needed all of the exposition and backstory.  (Based on my reading, we still don’t entirely know the “how” of BB’s return, unless I missed something.)  Hickman could have just said “He’s back,” and left it for others (AnL) to explain.  I feel this issue was a waste of space, and my fear is that #7 will follow in its footsteps.  But. eventually, Hickman will get back to what made this book good.
