Why I didn't end up buying this comic: I've decided to put some faith in the iFanboy community. I've realized that there are a lot of books that I'm on the fence with (past examples would include New Excalibur) that I would have stopped buying earlier if I had had better information. Fantastic Four is one of those books. I was interested in Millar/Hitch doing Marvel's original superhero team, but after two issues I was definitely on the fence. So yesterday, instead of buying it one more time and hoping it was going to be 'get good' I decided to wait a day and read the reviews, check the average rating, and see the comments. An average rating of 3 and most of the comments and reviews seem to say this book is 'meh' and not going anywhere. A robot that took out all the main Marvel guys, lots of continuity errors, sounds like a book I can pass on. If it turns out that sometimes I have to make two trips to the LCS in a week, I'll take my chances. I'm guessing this is going to save me $15-20/month and a lot of aggravation. Thanks, iFandom, you just saved me 4 bucks and the annoyance of being suckered into another bad buy. 'Kick Ass' be warned, this is my new policy for books like you that seem to be going nowhere fast.
