I am a die hard Batman fan and the New 52 reignited my desire to get back into reading. In my opinion, the first arc of this book with "The Dollmaker" was great. The art was great and the story had some fun twists, and the new villain didn't hurt. Now, with the second arc I feel like the book has really fallen off. This issue specifically didn't really make any sense to me. I felt lost for most of the issue. While the art is still good, it seems the story has fallen off alot. Hopefully it picks up soon or I might just be spending my time somewhere else.

I’m afraid unlike you I have decided that this issue is the last draw for me, pretty pictures are one thing but slow, dire storytelling, that just lacks pure imagination has left me bewildered.
I thought Tony Daniel would’ve matured more as writer, especially on such a flagship title as this, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Sorry DC you’ve lost me on this title!
Yea I made the decision the other day that I am dropping this title. The only DC title I will still be picking up is Batwoman. Other than that, I will be spending my time with Image titles!
Me too on Batwoman & Suicide Squad, otherwise I’ve dropped quite a few DC titles. I just hope Morrisons’ Batman Incorporated will hold up!
