The new comic DC Universe Presents is such a waste of my time and money. I was hoping for the best with talent like Paul Jenkins and Bernard Chang on board but…..uhhhh…..errrr…..UGGG, OOGHSNFSJGMm….

…….zzzzzzzzzz………

“ahh, cough, cough…..there, hmm, okay Boston Brand here. I just couldn’t sit by and watch that review be typed out so I took over (appropriately named) ghostmann’s body to help him finish the review and “see” the error of his ways.

I’ve been around awhile in the ol’ DCU and have seen it all. Hell, I was even there when God and Devil shook hands in my good buddy Swamp Thing’s comic back in the days. Speaking of Swampy, I have to give credit where credit is due, I would be staring in my own comic in 2011 if it hadn’t been for me guest-staring in his comic in the 80’s. That bearded madman Alan Moore resurrected my career and gave me a voice that truly resonated with the fans. Sue I’d had been in comics before Alan got a hold of me, but it was his vision that paved the way for not only myself to reach a new audience, but of other characters like Zananta, Dr. Fate, The Stranger, and The Specter.

Now Paul Jenkins is no Alan Moore but I think he has done a fantastic job in capturing the essence of my character and what makes me tick. For a first issue he does a great job of letting the reader know my past and my future. Nice work there Paul. And that art by Chang is not too shabby either.

Okay, well I better let get out of ghostmann’s body here, but before I do I better go done and click those story and art ratings…. here we go. Ahh, done.”

…..zzzzzzzzz……uhhh….ahhhhh….ughadfsdfad.f.a.

….. so with that I just want to say, I will not be back for issue 2 of DCU Presents! Fucking waste of my time!
