This was the first and the best thing I read in a week that had me topping out at 22 books. This week a lot of quality comics came out and reminded me what it was like to be a fanboy again. Its Thursday and I’m still working on my pile. That is a good thing.

  That said I am a self professed fan of all that is Meltzer. So when hearing that he was working on a one shot I was excited. Brad lived up and surpassed all of my expectations. The artwork from both the Kuberts matched the storytelling and sold those quiet moments so well.

 I won’t spoil anything because its in the experience of reading it that makes it wonderful. Simply said the heroes are heroes and it ends with hope. I am such a sucker for those types of stories, and Meltzer writes them so well. If you liked Identity Crisis or Final Crisis Requiem pick this up, you won’t be sorry
