Matt’s deal with the devil continues to reverberate and it’s another goodie from Brubaker anc company. This is consistently one of the best books I read and edgy art and urban settings are used to tell what seems like a greek tragedy at times. The relationships make sense, the motivations of characters make sense, and it’s noir to the nth degree without ever becoming depressing or repetitive.
