While I am not expecting any single issue of The New 52 to be the second coming of ____any hallowed title_____ I am judging them solely on their ability to make me want to pick up the next issue. Batwing wins. It started with action, moved briskly through the story and ended on a shocking cliffhanger. I gotta know what happens next! For me, that’s the whole point of an ongoing book.
