I have to say that as much as I once loved everything Kevin Smith did in the past, I bought this issue with some trepidation given his recent history with unmet deadlines. In addition, I actually find Onomatopoeia to be among the most annoying villains in recent history. However, I have this issue 5 stars for two specific, but very important reasons.

1. The less important reason: I love Deadshot at all times, and I loved how he faked his death.
2. The most important reason: Batman saying "Baruch haba, scumbag", in his inner monologue. In my opinion, it might be the greatest panel in comic book history. Mind you, my Jewishness could be influencing this.

Look, there's no good reason for Batman to suddenly be dropping Borsct Belt humor, but that doesn't mean that I don't love it with all my little feelings.

I will give it up for Mr. Walt Flanagan for the art, though. Way to take care of your friends, Mr. Smith. No joke. He deserves the opportunity.
