    Wow, this is the first review that is the slightest bit in favor of BFTC!  I thought it was alright.  I don’t see why everybody hates it so damn much!

    The issue is that, for a series that changes such a key element of the DC status quo, it’s quality was only so-so.  It wasn’t completely terrible as others are commenting, but "so-so" isn’t what this sort of story deserves.  When you look at how a similar situation was handled with Captain America, this effort pales in comparison.  But then Cap’s transition was started and finished by the same creative team, which obviously helped.
