In the first issue I wasn’t sure if this was the book for me. Now I’m slightly getting more excited for each issue. The art in the beginning of the book wasn’t amazing, but the full page close ups are where I think Patrick Gleason shines. I also think Mick Gray’s inking is perfectly used with Gleason’s penciling. The sad thing is though is that the art is very good in the night as it should be, but in the last few pages in the day the art is underwhelming. Peter J. Tomasi has me in the palm of his hands and I enjoy being there. My favorite scene in this book was Batman yelling at the criminals, “Yes, that’s exactly where you are tonight!” I’m excited for the showdown between Bruce and Morgan, even though I havn’t the faintest idea who Morgan is.
