I liked it but did not love it. I see it continues the Batman Inc material with the introduction of the The Bat from Moscow. It sets up an intriguing and odd looking character called Nobody, and I thought Gleason’s art was perfect for the character and material.

The story was fine, characterizations on point, yet it seemed to be here to reassure longtime Batman readers that everything is okay. There’s elements of Batman INC, Damien suggesting that he has more skills than Dick or Tim due to Talia’s training, and Bruce seems about the same age from before the 52. I didn’t get the sense its in line with Detective or Batman in terms of where Bruce is and his direction.

I have no big issues with this book and I think I’ll be back for more. And considering I’m a big Batman fan I need to adjust my list of what to keep and not for next month.

Bye bye Detective and Batgirl.
