I am shocked to say I did not really like this book at all. It’s full of unsympathetic assholes I don’t care about. This new Robin is a piece of crap.

Where is the Joker with a crowbar when you need him?

Given that I really disliked this book, I feel i should point out some good things. The art is pretty good. However, I’m sure Proctology Monthly has great art as well. I’m not interested in reading about Assholes in either publication, thank you very much. there si a fine line in writing a character that is a selfish dick that the reader still identifies with. The key ingredient is charm.

There is a good scene with Batman taking Robin to Crime Alley to see where it all began, and that and the art raise it a star.

I get that Damian is supposed to be a selfish prick, but you have to make him likeable. I’m very disappointed about this Bat title, hands down the worst of the new 54 Bat titles so far.

2 out of 5 stars.

I most likely won’t be reading after the first arc
