Finally a Grant Morrison writing that I could understand. I find that Morrison often writes dialogues for characters where they are speaking like brainy scientists who beat around the bush and banter concepts which are not easy to grasp, but in this one, it is a little easier get a handle on. Storywise, the issue does not only bridge the gap from R.I.P. to Final Crisis, but also provides thread plots which give layers to the ongoing Return of Bruce Wayne storyline, which is great. Art by Tony Daniel is also consistently good. I thought his art was a little more darker and sketchier in this which made it better. There’s also a little bit less of those “I’m a superhero so I will pose this way” art, which a show of growth for Daniel as an artist. Overall, this was a solid Issue.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
