Scott Snyder’s lead story was a bit of a let down, though seeing an young Bruce have a plan fail was a little novel.

The real value of this issue though is the spectacular backup story of all three future Robins, future Batgirl, and Jim Gordon, all looking up from the events of their respective lives to see the bat signal, which will shape so much of their future selves.
