I read too many spiderman books and haven’t picked up this title, but I decided too because of the DD/Spiderman/Punisher crossover. I already knew I was going to like this book with Waid and Rucka writing this crossover because they are at the top rung of my favorite writers ladder, but then you get smacked up the head with Marco Checchetto’s art? Oh sweet Christmas this was what you want when you get the wackiest teamup in the Marvel Universe. I don’t know if Checchetto is goind to do the art for this crossover, but I’d really would love for that to be true. I have a gut feeling that Waid did most of the dialogue especially Spidey, but Rucka definitely thought up the plan to go after the baddies. When Marvel does it next summer crossover event please have Waid and Rucka do it! I think it would make up for all of the past crossover events.
