I picked up this book because I like Kev Walker’s art on Thunderbolts. Anyone that has liked his previous work will probably enjoy this issue as well. I don’t know who many of the characters in the story are yet but I still enjoyed the story. Yes, it reads like Battle Royale and Hunger games. I want to see the characters fight one another, and I want to find out what exactly brought them to this circumstance. The loss of a character at the end of the issue was definitely its strong point. I’ll stick with this series for a couple more issues to see how it turns out.
