I don’t know art, but I know what I like, and what I like is this. Being an avid Marvel fan, very few DC titles ever attract my attention but amid overwhelming buzz I decided to pick up Animal Man and have not looked back since. There is something to be said about taking a relatively obscure character and turning them into something great. It shows that with true talent behind a book almost anything can become a classic. This issue continues the trend of excellent story-telling and begins to tell the story, the meat-and-potatoes, if you will, allowing us insight to the Rot, Red and more. If you have grown jaded with modern comics or are simply looking for something new, buy this book today.
