Man, I didn't think I'd miss an artist so much as I miss Jiminez from this book.

While the Wine More Day gag was amusing, I can't get over some of the panels in this book. Of course the Brillo hair is as hard to take as it ever was, but the pages where Jay was talking to Peter he used the exact same panel of Jay sitting down to make him stand up. It really stood out and the fact that Jay is about 70-80 means he wouldn't be getting up nearly that fast.

Of course now we have an age range for Jay, that of my grandfather, incidentally, and an age range for Jonah, that of my father. It'll be fine since it doesn't need to come up again, but nailing it down may come back to bite them in the ass.

 I liked the scene in the park with Pete looking for advice. I really liked the alley scene with Gargan and Bullseye. I have a feeling Norah is going to either be dead or have a huge story by issue 600, though most likely the latter.

Kelly's writing is keeping this taught and suspenseful, I just wish they'd have kept the same artist through the entire arc.
