I’m very impressed that Cornell can continue to make me care about anything Superman related.  This issue’s focus on Luthor’s fantasies are well-paced and speak well of his ability to let a story happen, as opposed to tirelessly explaining something.  And, in the end, he thoroughly humanizes Luthor and…(robotizes?) Lois.  This looks to be the first run of Action Comics that I’ll ever buy in trade.  Pete Woods and Cafu’s art is also on -point here.  The only downside to the whole issue is the stupid two page Brightest Day ad that’s in every DC comic this week.  It somehow manages to make me want to read the series even less, which is in some ways impressive.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
