This is what we've been waiting for from Grant Morrison on Action Comics. The story was solid from the word go, the obligatory Morrison non-sequiturs were not confusing (not really even non-sequiturs at all) and the art seemed to FINALLY click with the story-telling in this issue. I think the wrinkle Morrison threw in with Clark Kent being killed is huge. The ramifications are FAR bigger than "Superman needs to find a new identity;" Superman is more Clark Kent than he is Superman at this point - what's he going to do? If the subsequent issues continue in this vein, Superman could just become cool again.
