  1. Is this the last issue?  How is this series?

  2. @shiveringking8  This is the first issue of the second arc. You should check out some previews for the other issues, but believe me it looks amazing and the story is well…. weird… (in a brilliant way) If you like nuns with guns, called nun the less and nun of the above, then this is the book for you.

  3. @shiveringking8  Oh and issue #6 should be the last one.

  4. @shiveringking8  Six is the last issue. The series is better than phenominal.

  5. The only title I am sad to see go with the relaunch. Although to be fair, this thing was probably not getting enough sales anyway to keep it going for much further issues after 6. Still I’m gonna enjoy this for the next three months instead of dwelling on the loss.

  6. What?!?! Will there be more after #6?

  7. It’s been a great series, very intriguing. Really sad that it’s ending at #6. I wish I could get to know these characters better. But I wasn’t expecting Irving to be able to keep up with a monthly for more than six months anyway. Even without the line-wide reboot, I wasn’t expecting this series to last time. I’ve very pleased with what I got, though.

The (awesome) cover to this is an homage to a painting by Magritte:

  8. *^I meant, “I wasn’t expecting this series to last A LONG time”.

We still really need that EDIT button…

  9. Riding this one til the end.

  10. It is going to be canned soon, issue #6 when Dc does the No1s in August/September. Sad sad sad

  11. I am also sad to see this book go, but I’m taking advantage of the letter’s columns in the books and sending DC a message about my love of this book. I would encourage others to do the same, hopefully we may get more Xombi in the future. Maybe he’ll show up in the “Dark” titles or might get an arc in the DCU Presents anthology book. Its worth a shot!

  12. Solid issue as always. Also, the most psychadelic looking comic on the stands right now.

    4/5

  13. Really good issue. I like the world the team is building. Each issue though, I feel like I need to read all the previous issues. Maybe the Tuesday before next issue I’ll sit down and blow through the first 4 again. 5*

  14. I will be sad to see it go. I love that its one of the few books that takes longer than 5 minutes to read.

  15. This book is perfect.

  16. I would like to believe that Xombi will be back in 2012. Maybe as a mid-season replacement. People will beg for it once the trade hits.

  17. @Funcrusher  Couldn’t agree more.
