  1. I have high hopes for this issue. The cliffhanger at the end of last issue foreshadowed intense action – something sorely missing from the last half dozen issues.

  2. Does anyone know if this has been selling more b/c of the effect of the TV show, or is it another situation of the success in one medium not translating to comic sales? Not sure if the ifanboys covered this before.

    • Good question.

I have heard anecdotally that a few people who never read comics went and bought the whole series.

My lady never read a comic in her life until the first season ended. She asked me what do I do now. I said you can read the comic. I have six hardcovers with 12 issues each and monthly issues.

      She now reads it monthly.

    • Yeah i cant speak for everyone but from just my experience, my wife and 5 friends who never read comics before watching the series have now read all the volumes and now read monthly

    • a bunch of the guys at my office have been passing around a compendium. They are not comics readers, but love the show. its a start.

  3. I don’t anticipate big action this episode, probably discussion among the community about what to do with this knowledge. Maybe a small scouting crew to go with Jesus?

  4. Think it’s safe to jump on with this issue?

  5. I’ve heard Liefield is taking this series over at issue 100.

    😉

  6. i liked this issue….i’m really interested in meeting “the others” or whoever is out there.

i did think Rick turned his attitude around really quick. I dunno….can’t wait till next time. =)

  7. This seems to be two issues that dragged the point of them moving on to this “LARGER WORLD”, and then all of a sudden at the end Rick was all ready to go. I agree seemed to be a fast switch especially after all the sh%t that he has been thru and then he beats the snot out of the guy and had no weapons just a little crazy. I gave it a 4 and I did enjoy it however; seems a little like its trying to stretch it out for some reason; 100????

    K

  8. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz …

  9. I honestly don’t remember the last issue of this serie sI honestly enjoyed. I woul dlike to get through ah issue where Rick doesn’t have a couple paranoid rants, and then one of cautious optomism at the end. Invincible and Super dinosaur both have stayed good, but this series has really started to decline for quite some time now.

  10. Dull. Walking Dead used to feel fresh and original. Now, it’s repetitive and slow.

The past dozen issues feel like it’s being written by an unfocused Kirkman who is too busy with other projects.

  11. I hope there is a point to the monotony.

  12. This may be the first 2 I’ve given this series. This ends up pretty much right where issue 92 ended. The rants from Rick didn’t really feel necessary. We’ve heard them several times already and this didn’t provide anything new.
