The Walking Dead has been very slow lately to say the least. Kirkman has been drawing out the story for a little too long at this point especially after “No Way Out” and the events surrounding Carl’s shooting. This new story line would have been a great place to ramp up the action and introduce new elements. Instead we get another round of soul-searching Rick and a lot of indecision. Its only the last panel where we see them decide to embark on this new adventure. Only great art made this book mediocre rather than dreadful. I think The Walking Dead is a great comic but I think the long, drawn out storylines make it horrible as a monthly. I think from now on it makes a lot of sense to trade-wait.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 4 - Very Good
