  1. Anyone know if this would be a good jumping on point?

    • I jumped on 3 issues ago and loved it, but I think this might be where I jump off. Venom goes weekly with this issue, Venom 13.1, .2, .3 etc for the next few weeks. I just cant afford it. A shame, because I really did like the road trip arc, if you’re looking for a jumping on point I found issue 10 accessible

    • If you can afford the 4 bucks a week, you’ll get enough Venom this month to feel really caught up.

Otherwise jump on at the end of this month’s mini-event. Somewhere around #15?

It’s a great comic book either way.

  2. This is going to be so fantastic.

  3. One of the most underated comics out there. It gets praise but not near enough.

  4. This is going to be expensive, worth it, and forcing me towards taking less titles, less events, less tie-ins, less crossovers and less ancillary, superfluous, unnecessary filler.

It will be kind of a nice wrap-up of the end of the era for Ghost Rider and X-23.

    I even bought the poster.

I really have to buy less of these sorts of things.

But Venom is such a great comic book…

    😕 :-\ 8)

  5. Tony Moore’s doing this issue? Fuuuuuuuuuck.

  6. This event might be a kind of dumb idea but it is going to rock.

  7. I’m pretty torn about this

    • I agree. I’ve enjoyed the title to here…but with a cross over event that costs over 20.00 in a month and a half…pushing my limits greatly. Also, I don’t even care about some of these characters. Not even a little.

  8. I am excited. I think this may be the hail mary event and pull a Spider-Island. (that all means it won’t suck)

  9. Umm, any reason for the 3.99 price? Are there more pages, or is it because it’s an event? Just curious.

  10. I JUST noticed the 3.99 price tag. Ugh looks like I’m going without a snack pack in my lunch all month.

  11. I’m pretty sure this is 30+ pages instead of the regular 22, besides it looks awesome so price shouldn’t matter!

    • does anyone know if the rest are going to be 3.99 as well. I was iffy buying into this crossover because of the six issues in a month and a half, and that was at 2.99. I’m out if they are all 3.99…

    • It looks like the rest of the event issues are only 2.99, so there’s that. In other uninspiring news, the rest of the event issues are drawn by a different artist for every book. Maaaaaaaarrrrrrvehllllll!!!!!

  12. Man I need to catch up on Venom. This looks pretty sweet. Plus, Tony Moore is freaking amazing.

  13. Rick Remender.. Need I say more.

This guy writes like nobodies business.

I got venom because of the rave review ifanboy gave it when it explained Flash and his father’s relationship and I was freakin hooked. The story is more about Flash and not so much Venom although the symbiot plays a huge factor in it. Flash wants to be a hero but everyone else (Avengers) is after him, the last few issues, especially with Jacko was amazing, I haven’t read the last one yet as I am still getting caught up. But I want to go on record that Venom was only going to be a one issue thing, its now one of the top comics of my list!

  14. Geez that was quite a bit of fun. Damit it’s going to be an expensive month

  15. Tony Moore rocked on this. Next three weeks are without Remender or Moore. I wonder if those issues will stand up?

  16. Totally awesome. 5/5 POTW. I really hope the rest of the issues can at least come close to this level of awesomeness. If so then we’re really in for a treat.

  17. Wow, is this really $3.99 now? was strongly considering jumping on this title. I’m a Remender fan and am intrigued by the concept, but at $3.99, no way. Marvel why don’t you want my money?
