VENGEANCE OF MOON KNIGHT #10

“TEAM PLAYER”

Moon Knight embarks on his first adventure with Steve Rogers’ new Super-team: The Secret Avengers! Captain Barracuda and his crew of pirates that have hijacked a tanker transporting two million barrels of crude that’s worth north of two-hundred mil on the open market and executed 9 hostages just to show they’re not playing around. But neither are Steve Rogers, War Machine, Valkyrie, Ant-Man and their newest recruit, Moon Knight. They’re ready to rumble…and if that means taking on Barracuda’s reinforcements – a legion of creatures from the bowels of the deep blue sea – so be it.

  1. I hope this is good.  Moon Knight needs to get out of crossover hell and back into badassery.

  2. Hopefully this is better than last issue’s god-awfulness. I love Moon Knight, and think this ought to be good since it deals with Secret Avengers, but I dont really like Ryp as the artist.

  3. Totally on board. Liked last issue a hell of a lot, looking forward to this one.

  4. I’m actually a big fan of Ryp’s art and just wish the storyline wasn’t Moon Knight Team-Up.

  5. So uh…is this book cancelled?

  6. Favorite Superhero – MOONKNIGHT.  He just has not done well over the past few years. After reading this issue I finally think he has come into his own and say kudos for making him the badass and complex charachter us long time fans of his have craved.

  7. This was a ton of fun. I picked it up on a whim and totally enjoyed it. Sucks that it’s being dragged into Shadowland though. Since I’m not reading that event, I’ll probably sit out those upcoming issues and try jumping back on board once it’s done.

  8. I really liked this issue too. It was a lot better than I expected considering how bad last issue was, but this one was more of just fun than anything. It wasn’t anything deep or really meaningful, but still a really enjoyable read.

  9. Really enjoyed the story, but Ryp’s faces were painful to look at.

  10. Wow, that was an awesome read!  I naturally associate Ryp with Warren Ellis and the Avatar Press stuff and it really feels like Hurwitz had come up with some stuff that was right in line with some of the ultra-violent material Ryp has drawn in the past…pretty gory stuff.  I would normally have said the artifact stuff was a little hokey but it was right in line with the Secret Avengers theme so it works…and that monster page was gorgeous.  Wow.

  11. i thought the art in this was great, reminds me of a bit of geof darrow.  not as good as darrow but still.
