  1. Can’t wait to read this! Still my favorite Marvel book and Opena comes back next issue!!!

  2. Simply put, this is one of the best comics out there at the moment. Can’t wait to see what this issue has in store!

  3. WOOYEAHHH!!! This book is one hell of a ride. Excellent story accompanied by excellent artwork. Can’t wait to see the whole outcome of the Dark Angel Saga. Pretty nervous that Warren has yet to make an appearance on the teasers that has bHonestly the best X-title out on the shelves.

  4. Awesome cover!!! Age of Apocalypse Wolverine as the new Apocalypse? Can’t beat it…

  5. Some how, some way, this book was on the shelf at my LCS last Wed. The story arc keeps getting better. So much fun!

  6. This series is just awesome. Opena coming back next issue is icing on the cake. Aside from that one overly decompressed issue with an out-of-character Magneto crying and having someone fight his battles for him, I think this series has been hands-down the best Marvel series of the year. They switch artists…and it works. They switch up the type of stories they’re telling, switch locations all over the place…and it works. I have total faith in Remender & co. to do anything they want with this title and I’ll love it. (Just as long as Magneto doesn’t cry again or take two pages to sip a cup of coffee.)

  7. When even was the last Opeña issue? Was it the Apocalypse one???

  8. I’m eagerly awaiting Opeña’s return. The so-so art was my only complaint about this issue.

  9. Opena returns next week in #14. Be excited!

  10. I’m extremely frustrated with this title. Its initial run was one of the most interesting and special comics being published. The musical chairs approach to getting a different artist seemingly every other issue is painful and makes it impossible to maintain any momentum for me. I really just don’t understand this approach to creating comics.

This current arc has been my least favorite so far, story and art wise. Seems like it was written for the hardcore X-Men fan who’s been reading for many years, which i am not. It wasn’t so much tough to follow as it wasn’t that interesting to me.

Opena is coming back next issue….to finish up this arc? That really makes no sense but ohh-kay. Maybe its time to drop and move on.

  11. Love this issue but what’s up with AoA Nightcrawler not leaving with the team back to the 616 with Gateway. I hope he teleported his azz out in team.

    • Look again, specifically the double page spread which is from Wolvocalypse’s perspective with the black thought bubbles. I don’t get how he’s appearing in the preview either, but thats part of the fun!

  12. Time team you know what I mean

  13. Not enough Deadpool.

  14. It’s a shame the art hasn’t been more consistent but even two artists couldn’t stop this from being a 5 for me. I loved every bit of the story. The last page was awesome. Maybe it helps that I’m fond of the AoA universe. I was disappointed they didn’t get to bring all those guys back.

I know people complained about Mark Brooks but I thought his stuff was good over the last few issues. Scot Eaton is a solid artist but his art was a bit out of place here. Still, it didn’t actually hurt the storytelling.

  15. This book gets consistently better! … As long as Billy tan doesn’t pencil another magneto, I see nothing wrong with this series so far.

  16. So much death!

  17. The 2 page art switcheroo was embarassing. Not awful, but so out of place and obviously rushed to fill a hole. Please Marvel, stop ruining this amazing book with your insane publish 20 issues in year madness. This should be Opena and Ribic trading back and forth, 12 issues a year. With the right art this goes from good to legendary. Oh well. Praise the almighty dollar.
